01Hilltop Concrete & Hardscape

Larger lots, in the heart of Denver.

Hilltop, along with neighboring Crestmoor, offers something rare in central Denver: larger lots, wide streets, brick traditional homes and a growing number of new custom builds, with Cranmer Park and Crestmoor Park close by. Those larger lots open the door to projects you do not often see in the city: full driveways and motor courts, generous patios, outdoor kitchens and fire features, and complete landscape designs.

Stone & Concrete builds the concrete and hardscape and the landscape around it. Our crews replace and pour driveways, front walks, steps and stamped or colored patios. Our landscape and hardscape division designs and builds paver and flagstone terraces, walls, outdoor kitchens, fire features, planting, sod, irrigation and lighting. One team plans the sequence so drainage, sleeves and grading are handled before hardscape goes in.

Many Hilltop projects come with a new build or a major renovation. We coordinate with homeowners and builders on timing and access, and design hardscape that complements both traditional brick homes and modern architecture.

As always, we start with the base: excavated and compacted to suit the soil, with slopes and drainage that carry water away from the foundation.

03Local Knowledge

Working in Hilltop and Crestmoor.

Denver permits. Work in the public right-of-way, including new driveway curb cuts, approaches and sidewalks along the street, requires permits from the City and County of Denver, and some projects also need zoning or building review. We confirm what your project needs during the estimate.

Mature trees. Hilltop’s mature trees add value and shade. We plan excavation and layouts around root zones to protect them.

Drainage. Larger patios and driveways move more water. We design slope, drains and outlets so runoff stays away from the house and neighbors.

Client Reviews

What clients say.

Stone & Concrete tore out our old driveway and poured a new stamped surface in three days. The crew was professional, the price was honest, and the result looks better than the renderings.

We've used them for two annual inspection cycles across three properties. Reports are detailed, recommendations are practical, and the follow-up repair work has been first-rate.

Dan P. Property Manager, Denver

They poured a 4,000 sq ft warehouse slab for us on a tight schedule. Flatness numbers came in under tolerance and we were on the floor with forklifts the next week.
