01Cherry Creek Concrete & Hardscape

Tight lots, high standards.

Cherry Creek is one of Denver’s most sought-after neighborhoods, with a mix of classic brick homes, modern infill, luxury townhomes and the historic Country Club area nearby. Lots are smaller and access is tighter than in the suburbs, and the finish standard is high. Every square foot of outdoor space matters, and the hardscape has to look as good as the architecture.

Stone & Concrete builds driveways and alley aprons, front walks and steps, stamped and colored entries and courtyards, patios and walls, and our landscape and hardscape division designs and builds complete outdoor spaces: large-format paver patios, flagstone, built-in seating, fire features, outdoor kitchens, planters, irrigation and lighting. On compact lots, a good design does a lot of work: layered planting to soften fences, lighting to extend the evening, and materials that tie the yard to the house.

Many Cherry Creek projects are part of a renovation or a new build. We coordinate with builders and homeowners on schedule, access and sequence, so hardscape goes in at the right point and utilities, sleeves and drainage are planned before anything is poured.

As on every job, the base comes first: excavated and compacted to suit the soil, with slopes that carry water away from the foundation and toward the street or alley.

03Local Knowledge

Building in central Denver.

Denver permits. Work in the public right-of-way, including new driveway curb cuts, approaches and sidewalks along the street, requires permits from the City and County of Denver, and some projects also need zoning or building review. We confirm what your project needs during the estimate.

Access and staging. Narrow side yards, alleys and street parking limit equipment and material staging. We plan deliveries, pours and cleanup around them and keep neighbors in mind.

Drainage on small lots. With less space to work with, water has to be directed carefully. We grade and slope hardscape to drain away from foundations and toward approved outlets.

Client Reviews

What clients say.

Stone & Concrete tore out our old driveway and poured a new stamped surface in three days. The crew was professional, the price was honest, and the result looks better than the renderings.

Maria K. Highlands Ranch

We've used them for two annual inspection cycles across three properties. Reports are detailed, recommendations are practical, and the follow-up repair work has been first-rate.

Dan P. Property Manager, Denver

They poured a 4,000 sq ft warehouse slab for us on a tight schedule. Flatness numbers came in under tolerance and we were on the floor with forklifts the next week.
